Fishing in Georgioupolis
Nikos has been fishing off the coast of Georgioupolis for decades.
A few years ago, he and Erika decided to take tourists on their small boat and show them what is fishing!

Starting we pass the other picturesque fishing boats. On the left you leave the headland with the "Arkadi" fish tavern, on the right you are almost at the level of the small chapel "Agios Nicolaos", which lies in the sea at the end of the pier made of natural stones, it goes comfortably past the bay of "Kalivaki". From there you will do trolling fishing along the coast for about 6 miles.

.....after about an hour the fishing trip boat stops for groundfishing and everyone can try their luck. Children sometimes turn out to be the most skilled anglers. Nikos is always on hand to offer advice and assistance and has a "raki" ready to toast the successful catch. After about 40 minutes it's time to go back where you will try your luck once again with trolling fishing.
